Thai Banana Tortilla

A banana flat cake is perhaps the most popular Thai dessert. And the real street food: in Thailand, it is cooked on the street, on a mobile stove. If you are not a fan of very sweet pastries, exclude sugar and powdered sugar from the recipe – it will turn out very tasty anyway.

INGREDIENTS
yeast puff pastry – 80 gvegetable oil – 10 ml
butter – 15 g
peeled bananas – 70 g
sugar – 5 g
condensed milk – 20 g
mint – 2 g
icing sugar – 0.5 g
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Thaw the dough, roll it thinly with a rolling pin. Cut a circle with a diameter of 20 cm.
Step 2
Cut the banana into rings.
Step 3
In a pan with preheated vegetable oil with minimal heating, fry the dough on each side for 2 minutes until cooked. Remove from heat.
Step 4
Put butter in the same pan and fry the bananas (about 30-40 seconds). Add sugar, mix and fry for another 30 seconds.
Step 5
Put the fried bananas on one half of the tortilla. Roll the filling cake in half in the form of a crescent and cut across into 6 parts.
Step 6
Pour condensed milk into a plate and gently place a banana cake on top. Pour condensed milk on top and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
